Q: I have the volume turned up all the way on my iPod and my AIRDRIVES don’t go loud enough.
A: AIRDRIVES have a volume ramp on the cord. Make sure this is adjusted correctly. Also, check the max volume setting on your player.
Q: When I run, my earphones sometimes come off my ears.
A: All models of AIRDRIVES have adjustable frames. You can form them to fit and offer the balance between comfort and retention. Slide the cord joiner closer to your chin to gather the wire and aid in retention.
Q: At higher speeds the wind noise interferes with my music.
A: AIRDRIVES are “wide-open” by design and will experience loss of bass and interference of wind noise at speeds over 20mph. For cycling or skiing, try wearing a headband to reduce the wind noise. Be aware that the headband will have some impact on hearing of ambient sounds.
Q: Is there a way to adjust to more or less bass?
A: Many players have EQ settings. Check to see if this is a function of your player.
Q: What can I use to clean my AIRDRIVES?
A: We suggest a damp cloth. If a stronger cleaner is needed to remove sweat residue, try spraying window cleaner on a rag and then wiping down your earphones and cord. *Do not submerge your earphones in water or apply cleaner directly on them.
Q: Is it legal to use AIRDRIVES for driving or cycling?
A: Many states have regulations on using earphones for these activities. AirDrives do not cover the ear so you can hear your surroundings, but to be completely legal while driving you can only use one earphone (L or R). While wearing AIRDRIVES, we recommend using good judgment and selecting a volume level that allows awareness of your surroundings.
Q: Can I get a converter to use my 3.5mm plug AIRDRIVES with my 2.5mm jack on my cell phone?
A: Converters are available from many electronic shops.
Q: Do you offer a longer cord so I can use my AIRDRIVES with my home stereo or computer?
A: Extension cords are available from many electronic shops.
